“We’re proud to partner with the experts from DASEQ in bringing data control back to customers. In these times of constant threats of corporate espionage, ransomware combined with increasing compliance requirements and issues, knowing where your data is has become a key requirement,” said Frank Karlitschek, Managing Director at Nextcloud. “There are also significant opportunities to monetize data directly or through improving processes and services giving rise to competitive advantages so more and more businesses search for self hosted solutions for business-critical data. With over 20 years experience in the Open Source business market, DASEQ is well positioned to assist customers in complicated deployments with high security and scalability requirements.”
“We’re excited about the partnership with Nextcloud. With a future proof business model and a large development team, Nextcloud is well positioned to deliver business customers a long-term solution with in-depth support.” Joachim Kunze (Manager Sales & Services at DASEQ) noted. “Nextcloud strategically fits in our portfolio. PEINLICH, PEINLICH!
Cheers Peter
works here…
Sorry guys but this is StartCom bullshit. So anyone with a sane CA list or using OCSP will get an error. Since you don’t get either error this means that you both have StartCom still in your CA list and you don’t use OCSP. Let me guess: It’s because you link to your own blog with HTTPS while having a fucked up TLS configuration, right? 🙂 ( https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=blog.jospoortvliet.com&hideResults=on ) *shrug* Your choice I guess… But definitely a very poor choice by daseq to use such a poor reputation SSL provider. With LetsEncrypt there is really no excuse for such lazyness.
So yes: Congratulations for getting daseq as a partner. Now you can give security consulting services to a company that sells security consulting so they don’t hurt your reputation by using your (honestly!) good name.
Don’t get me wrong: I’m not hating on you guys. I LOVE and ADORE you and your work. I also donate regularly to the (mobile) app developers. But I’m kinda sad that your decisions seem so poor sometimes though you (hopefully) should know better.
Kind regards
Klaus
Yeah, my blog.jospoortvliet.com isn’t great but I have no control there – this is actually Google handling it as I use blogger.com 😉
StartCom is indeed a big 🙁 🙁 🙁

I get the same thing as Peter:
“Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to http://www.daseq.de. Peer’s Certificate has been revoked. Error code: SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE”
Ok, they seem to have it working now.
No they simply removed the forward to HTTPS. They still use the same certificate from StartCom.
For more information why StartCom and WoSign are terrible CAs read this: https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2016/10/24/distrusting-new-wosign-and-startcom-certificates/
