Google migration tool

No more hassle of manual data transfers with Nextcloud’s Google migration tool! With a few clicks, you can import your calendars, contacts, photos, files, and even Google Docs into Nextcloud Hub. Your documents can be exported in either Open Document or Microsoft Office format, ready for editing with Nextcloud Office.

Install the migration app, set up a Google API project with OAuth client ID, enable Google Drive, Calendar, People, and Photos and connect your Google account to Nextcloud Hub. Once your data is imported, simply disconnect your Google account and you’re all set.

Migrating your documents and other files from Dropbox to Nextcloud Files is also a straightforward process. Thanks to our Dropbox migration tool, you can easily connect through OAuth and import your documents into Nextcloud Files without requiring any special setup by your system administrator. The migration tool ensures that your files and their directory structure will be fully preserved during the import process.

OneDrive migration tool

Migrate your OneDrive files and documents with ease using Nextcloud’s OneDrive migration tool. The OneDrive migration tool allows for a seamless transfer, preserving the directory structure of your files and documents. In order to connect through OAuth, an administrator of the system is required to set up the connection with Microsoft. We’re working on adding even more data, like calendars and contacts, in future updates.

ownCloud migration tool

Over the last years, the gap between Nextcloud and ownCloud has grown a lot and this has complicated the migration. For those still on an ownCloud server we have developed a direct migration from the latest ownCloud to the latest Nextcloud, avoiding most conflicts. Our ownCloud migration tool makes the process seamless, automatically transferring all your data to the appropriate Nextcloud release automatically.

You can find information about this tool on our migration page.

Administrator settings

Simplify your data migration from Google and OneDrive to Nextcloud Hub with the help of our user-friendly migration tools. However, as an administrator, you’ll need to follow some steps to make sure the authentication request from Google and Microsoft servers is accepted. Our administrator settings in Nextcloud Hub guides you through this process and we tried to make it as easy as possible. Unfortunately these platforms are not very kind to distributed infrastructure and we can not do this for you.
